Shea Butter
What is Shea Butter?
Shea butter comes from African shea tree nuts and is rich in fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamins. Like green tea, shea butter contains antioxidative polyphenols that help combat premature aging. Shea butter also contains essential fatty acids like stearic and oleic acids, phytosterols, allantoin as well as vitamins A, E, and D.

Why use Shea Butter?
Hydration
Shea butter penetrates the skin and seals in moisture, protecting the skin from transdermal water loss many experiences in dry environments and during the harsh winter months.
Plumping
The hydration and moisturization from shea butter also plump the skin, so it is softer and more youthful-looking.
Soothing
Shea butter soothes irritated skin from everything from insect bites and contact dermatitis to psoriasis.
Anti-aging
All the antioxidants and fatty acids in shea butter help neutralize free radical damage that causes fine lines, wrinkles, and melasma.
